scatterbrained

Where is this ride taking me and do I really want to go there?

snow?

I finished the Bunny Hat and if I do say so myself it is the cutest thing ever. I can't wait to see it on Fi.

I guess it's because I'm from Oregon that it seems really crazy that it is snowing in the last week of February. I talked to grandma yesterday and she was telling me about all the daffodils that are coming up. I'm not sure if there are a lot of those here, but daffodils always make me remember that it is spring and my birthday is coming soon.

too long

I know, I'm a bad blogger. But very little of any interest has been happpening to me. I did buy my ticket home for Easter break and am busy thinking of thing to tkae, to bring back and everthing I want to do on the short trip.

I also went to a new yarn store, it isn't actually new but it is new to me, Knit Happens in Alexandria. While there I picked up that materials for Fiona's bunny hat in Stitch & Bitch Nation, I was there on Thursday and I am done with the hat and 1/4 of the way done with the ears. It is so very cute!.

After leaving the KH I stopped at a little coffee shop/roaster and I think I have finally found good coffe around here. The service was so-so and they didn't have the option for non-disposable cups for drinking in shop but other than that they make a mighty fine dry cappuchino.

just keep swiming

Another post to say that not much is happening here. Jazz band is going really well, I like most of the people there and Dr. Cook really knows what he is doing but he has a very different way of directing than Michael. I also hope we work up pieces that are not vocal features or latin charts.

No new knitting projects for the moment but I need to get yarn for F's Easter Hat.

I have offically decided to go home for Easter break. It is shorter than spring break and I can take care of a few things in Portland.
