Where is this ride taking me and do I really want to go there?

Congrats and a rant

First I want to give a gigantic congratulations to Julie and Andy who are expecting, that is so cool, plus Sheldon is due on my birthday!

Now I have to rant, what is with all the pregnant ladies? Three of my co-workers, 4 ladies on the truckers wives forum and now Julie. I have a lot of knitting to do.

No I'm not lazy, there has been a lot going on lately and not all of it have been good. After a little difficulty Paul passed his CDL test, now he's job hunting. Because we already have tickets to go to Oregon for Thanksgiving it's really not practical for him to start before that, so he's just hanging at home.

Last night at 11 pm I took Paul to Urgent Care because he couldn't breathe. They kept him for an hour, took chest x-rays and sent him to the emergency room in an ambulance because he was on oxygen. They ended up giving him 3 nebulizer treatments and some prednisone, took a couple of blood samples and we were in the emergency room until 5:30 this morning. He already had a Dr.'s appointment at 7 this morning so we went to that and he got a couple more perscriptions and went home to sleep until about 1:30 pm. Needless to say I took the day of of work.

My knitting is going slowly because I've been so overwhelmed by everything that I can hardly concentrate on anything.
